COLEBROOK - YOUNG – Isobel (Robertson) Young, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. She was the loving wife of William G. Young for 56 years. Born on December 29, 1933 in Stamford, CT; the daughter of the late John and Mary (MacGregor) Robertson. She attended Stamford High School and Katherine Gibbs School in Stamford. She was a Nursery School Teacher for 27 years. She was a member of the Colebrook Congregational Church, the Colebrook Land Conservancy and Colebrook Associates. Her interests and hobbies included; bird watching, jigsaw puzzles and spending time at her place in Vermont. In addition to her husband, she leaves a son, John R. Young and wife Carol of Colebrook; a daughter, Barbara Y. Wetmore and husband Gregory of Danbury, CT; and four grandsons, Matthew W. Wetmore of Vernon, CT, Andrew R. Wetmore of Danbury, CT, William J. Young of Colebrook and Brian R. Young of Colebrook. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted at 11AM. Friends may call on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the funeral home in Winsted from 10 – 11 AM.
