John Morgan was the Vice President of our SHS Class of 1951.

MORGAN John Everett Morgan, age 70, of Milford, died on Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Milford Hospital. He was born on August 5, 1933, in Norwalk, to the late Everett and Anna Mihalik Morgan, and raised in North Stamford. He was employed as a salesman for Aeronautics & Astronautics, was active in the founding of the Milford Junior Major League, and was active in the Milford Tennis Association. Mr. Morgan is survived by his loving wife, Heather Lee Walker Morgan; sons, Russell Morgan and his wife, Anne, of Kingston, R.I., Brian Morgan and his wife, Patricia, of Hamden, and Alex and his wife, Sandy, of Bethany; sister, Carole Morgan of Stamford; brother, Robert Morgan of Whitestone, Va.; and grandchildren: Sarah, Emma, Laura, Matt, Jennie, Ally and Elizabeth. All funeral services are private and are being handled by the Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad Street, Milford. Donations may be made in his name to the Hole in the Wall Gang Fund, 555 Long Wharf Drive, New Haven, CT 06511.

In addition to finding John Morgan's obituary, above, Classmade George Hoyt has also located the following obituary of his widow of 14 years, Heather Lee Morgan, which adds additional material of interest pertaining to John's life and family.

Heather Lee Morgan, age 82 of Milford, entered into eternal rest June 6, 2018. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ to the late Augusta Lee and Godfrey Buchannan Walker and raised in Old Greenwich. She was predeceased by her husband John Everett Morgan. Heather is survived by her three sons, Russell and his wife Anne of Wakefield, RI and their daughters Sarah and Emma; Brian and his wife Patricia Morgan of Hamden, CT and their children Laura, Matthew, and Jennifer, Alex and his wife Sandy Morgan of Bethany, CT and their daughters Ally and Elizabeth, her brother Alexander and Margaret Walker of Sammamish, WA. Heather spent her career at Warren Laboratory in Milford and retired from Milford Hospital as supervisor of the Medical Lab. In her spare time, Heather enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bridge, and was a master rug hooker who created many award-winning pieces. All services will be private.
