I graduated from Illinois State University in 1974 with a Teaching Degree. For the past 8 years I have been teaching technology to first through eighth graders and loving it! This year, 2008, I will have taught 35 wonderful years! I will retire at the close of this school year. (Although my Superintendent has already asked me to come back in my present position part time next year!
I married my high school sweetheart, Don Kern, in 1973 and we are still happily married with three great boys! They are all married now and EACH has blessed us with 2 grand children. Three Girls! Three Boys! There is nothing more fun than grandchildren!)

Lived in Seneca, Illinois for 7 years right after getting married, then moved to Pawnee, Illinois in 1980 where we still live today.
