After H.S. was working at Topeka Air Cargo Hub at Forbes Field. When it closed down and couldn't find a job Tammy McCullough and I joined the Air National Guard and went to basic training. Before we finished basic a new flight came marching by and low and behold there was Brenda Hamilton marching by. Left basic training to go to tech school on a bus. This cute guy sat behind us singing about a girl from Kansas City. We've now been married almost 33 years. We were stationed in Altus, OK for almost 8 years and Anchorage, AK for 10 years. Now retired from the Air Force we are in Alabama. Husband is feed mill mgr. for Marshall Durbin and I transferred from being the feed mill scheduler at the feed mill to the sales/production planning dept. at the processing plant for Pilgrims Pride (JBS) the competitor for my husband's company. Then came covid, they sent us home to work from there. 1 1/2 yrs later they decided it was time to go back to the office so I decided to go ahead and retire.

Don't have alot of stories from high school. Jr. High was my best year, 9th grade cheerleader. Didn't get any better than that, we had so much fun!! Then the big move to high school and I was an instant nobody so it's amazing I ever actually finished since I did quit in my junior year. I guess I live for my kid's successes since I screwed up and never went on to college like I should have except for a few jr. college classes before I got pregnant. Would never change anything now tho, I was blessed with a beautiful family!! I just really regret not staying in touch with more people. I really miss Marty and Gena!! Almost got to see Gena once but she was already sick and didn't make it when Cindy and Nancy Tetuan met with Brenda, Glenda, and Lynda!!
