Steve - A day late and a dollar short ! I just now saw that you were on TV ( a week after the fact)! I was on TV once too ( for having the first baby born on Mother's day that year) - I bet you looked cuter than I did on TV. Ok, what's the scoop ? What's he like ? What did he eat ? Mary Ann- Vince is just a great guy. Down to earth Oklahoma boy. Born in Norman, raised in OKC. Amy was at their house in Florida. It was just a great day. The Folds of Honor is such an outstanding charity, providing scholarship money to fallen soldiers kids. I didn't have any sweat dripping down my face and my legs were not wide open with my crotch showing, but I don't know about 'cute'.

Steve - I like the way you said " Amy was at their house....". Just like I talk about my friends - by her first name,yet ! Hey , I just now realized why you commented about how you "didn't" look - I wasn't in the middle of childbirth when I was on tv - but I 'm sure I looked like I HAD been! I didn't realize "Vince" was from OKC. You'v had some interesting adventures in life.

Mary Ann- Sorry. I thought maybe they were showing you on the Learning Channel or one of those giving birth to your daughter on Mothers day. I asked Vince if he was working much, he replied, "Not a whole lot." I then asked him about Amy. He said, "No she's not been very busy either, fortunately we don't have to work very much." I guess Amy is really good friends with his mom. I think they get back to Oklahoma pretty often.

All - I hope you have a very Blessed Christmas and Wonderful New Year ! I will have my family ( all 22)) in for Christmas Eve to do some neighborhood caroling, dinner, games and grandma gifts. I think my favorite part is just being together singing and seeing the little ones place the figures in the manger, while hearing the real Christmas story again - and we need it more now than ever ! Rhea - it was so futuristic that it was hard to imagine. But if you thingk about the "things" we have now and take for granted, it is amazing. It's also amazing being 60 years old. I saw an article about Dr Oz recommending 7 min of Yoga every morning - AARP.ORG/DROZ - for "older people". Now that would be amazing! I think I am going to start (trying) though....

Thanks everyone for your condolences and kind words when we lost Chuck. Tues he would have been 65. Talked to my dad last night and he told me Helen Pat Raines passed away yesterday. She and my mother were the best of friends. I am so glad I stopped by and visited when I was home in Dec. I will miss her.

Saw a picture of Jay and Jan Fimple with their kids on facebook. I could not help but think of the time I stepped on his ankle going down the steps at Mom's after we had taken pictures for the Prom.
