Happy Birthday Harry. Still have fond memories of our parents getting together to play some board game (Pollyanna?)..... Happy Hanukkah! Larry A.
Truly saddened to hear of Jim's passing. Jim seemed to know everyone and always treated them as
a friend. I will always remember his laugh and thought of him as a "Gentle Giant".

I'm so happy to read your post and to know life has been good to you.
I did not know until recently your connection to what was (or still is?) the Smoot - Anderson business. That name will always stand out in my memory for a funny / sad reason:
My mom, sister Connie (now Black, class of '66) and I returned to Waco, mama's home town in 1959 after the death of my father. He was on active duty, and a fighter pilot in the Air Force.
His funeral was in Waco, and his dad and brother came down from their home in Akron, Ohio.
We're all together in the limo, going to the cemetery and Grandpa Anderson looks out the window and sees the Smoot-Anderson company ... and remarks, "Oh, I thought that said "Shoot Anderson" company and decided that's not good, there's fewer and fewer of us lately!"
Gallows humor, to be sure, but that was the Anderson clan!
