Time sure gets away from me. Shawn and I split up around 10 years ago. I have been seeing a great guy named Kevin for a little over a year now. I recently took disability retirement from the UW. I loved my job and the people I worked with, but I have been fighting cancer since January of 2017 and it spread to both lungs this past fall. Gee what to say. I left Wausau and came to Madison for School. I did my undergraduate degree in Art History and studied in Europe a few time. Came back to Madison and then went to NY for more education. Came back and worked as the Registrar at the WI Veterans Museum for 6 years and then took a job as the Executive Director of the Rock County Historical Society for 2 years and missed Madison so I moved back yet again. Along the way I did some work for the Ministry of Education in Japan and for the American Embassy in Panama. I guess I like to travel, but I always came back to Madison so I finally bought a house here. I have been at the UW in Urban and Regional Planning for the past 6 years. My mom works for the School of Education and my brother is and ER doc with the UW who does the med evac flights. He has two boys who are fun to see and then send home to mom and dad. My partner Shawn and I have been with each other for almost 12 years now. He is the head mechanical engineer for the company he has been with for 16 years. Talk about dedication.
