School Story:
Let's go down memory lane,I remember my first job at David's were Imet many south highers younger and older,while making a whopping 2.15 an hour.I remember my first car a 72 vw superbeele(that car saw more miles than an over the road truck driver),I can't forget my library of 8tracks.I remember crystal beach,playing football along the shoreline.playing volleyball in the sand,frisbie and drinking cold suds in the hot summer sun.I remember going to Osage and playing basketball with guys like Logan,Utter,Buss,Guenther,Hutch,Fisher,Mcarty,Warner,sorry if I left anyone out.I remember going to watson park for lunch and not making it back to class.I remember turning 18 in jan. of my senior year,Icould legally buy beer.I remember at one of the south high dances,Kari Nett grabbed me by the hand and saying lets go dance ,I said I don't know how to dance.She said you better learn fast,so I did my best impression of Gene Gene the dancing machine(the gong show).I remember the parties at kelly baily's house and watching saturday nite live.I remember pogo's and boogie nights.I remember Thearosa's bridge and watching the big guys out run me to the car when we got the crap scared out of us.Is that place still there or is that a subdivision now.How would you like to go borrow a cup of sugar from her and ask how the kids are.I remember the drag races out there by 47th and west(Ithink thats were it was.The long hot summers of playing tennis.I remember having a pretty good time growing up.I do wish I wouldn't of had to work so much so I could have enjoyed it more.I wished I would of had more guts to ask out some of the girls I wanted to ask out.They will be left nameless(still no guts).I hope this brought back some memories to someone else.see you all soon.
