Comments:
Moved to AZ. end of June 2002. Been getting used to the heat every since. Unfortunately divorced after 25 yrs. Been getting my feet on the ground and going forward.I work as a school bus driver, going on my fourth yr. and just got my CNA ( Certified Nurse Assistant) Am continuing on with school with the goal of going to nursing school in a couple yrs. My first born daughter Jennifer is happily married for nearly six yrs. to Robb and they gave me my first grand child on May1st. Baby henry. I;m loving it. My middle son Jordan just graduated from high school last week and is still at home, looking for work and will go to comm. college this fall. My youngest son Taylor is 13 and such a jem. We are best buddies. I;m healthy, and blessed, God has been so faithful to me through these very tough years, and I would be amiss if I didn't give Him the glory.
I moved back to Yakima at the end of May of 2011. I care for children. At the time it was just two, my grandson Henry who had just turned 4, and a three month old little girl. Well, as often families grow. I have two grandsons, and the little girl had a sister. Interestingly enough, the two youngest were born 6 weeks apart.Needless to say, those couple years were a blur! During these years I have had several other children join our crew. We are a busy bunch. I count it a privilege and great responsibility to care for a nurture them. But time marches on, and they grow up. This fall I will have a 4th grader,2nd grader, and two kindergarteners. During the school yr. I volunteer a couple hours a week at my grandsons school, I really enjoy it. And during school hours Im busy around the office. Theres always things to be done. Being on my own has brought challenges but, God has given me strength, courage and wisdom to grow through each one. His amazing grace and immeasurable love are my anchor. He has proven Himself to me over and over. His favor continues to be over my life.
School Story:
Yea, how about me and Patnode showing up at the dance in those costumes, faces all painted, no one knew even knew who we were. The picture is so great. A very fun night Dawn and I still laugh about.Or how about the time her and I again both got into a VERY large pair of overalls and drove her stick shift car around trick-er treating! I seem to remember one of us laughed so hard and couldn't get out of the pants fast enough and peed ourselves! Yea those were the days. Lots of fun memories with marching band and those ridiculous marshmellow hats!
