Well since our 40th we have seen a lot of firsts from comets to pandemic to wars around the globe. I hope you’re all safe from the affects on this ever changing virus. We have sadly lost friends and relatives too soon. During the worst of the pandemic I saw my sales territory wiped out and absorbed by my x-employer. Kind of glad it happened because I found out they were not matching funds with my retirement 401k for 5 years. So I went independent for 1-1/2 years, partly out of necessity. But few companies rehiring people over the age of 55. So sad. Just when my unemployment ended a miracle. I am hired by the Kent Pet Group to represent the World’s Best Cat Litter. Complimenting this career move I am also an independent National Sales Manager for Fern Valley Soaps. A great hand and face soap. Makers of Humboldt Hands. I also am responsible for building up sales independently in large independent Convenience/Grocery Stores and truck stops in the Northwest and British Columbia for Dandylinesllc. I mostly sell some fun companies for them like candies, toys and my hand soap. It sounds like a lot but most of this is in between my current duties with Kent Pet Group as I travel around. I also have multiple sales agencies selling the soap line I have. I have a lot of options if anything changes again but for now this is all I want to handle.

The goal in all this is repeat sales automatically so that I can reduce or retire Dee from her job, have a sustainable income coming in monthly in my retirement years, and give as much support for our son as we can. I know I can only do this a few more years but as long as I have fun why stop.

Our son, Joshua is doing well. Loves digital media and hopes to have a career in that field in editing. He is wrapping up his 2 year certification Degree at YVCC with a great A- GPA. He will have to make some decisions soon pursuing further advancement or not. Our biggest fear though is how this talented Autistic young man will take care of himself in the future. God will provide.

Mostly enjoying the antics of Dan Eyman beating up on Ed Chadwick with Big Time Wrestling moves, all in fun. I believe Marty was involved in that. The high school pyramids unless you were on the bottom and Dan Eyman was on top of you. That hurt. Enjoyed Varsity Tennis & Bowling state championships. Less painful sport activities, yet wishing I could have played football. Head concussion kept me from doing that. Having a crush on certain girls but too shy to ask.(They never knew) Memories of our Typing Instructor Freshman & Sophomore years. All the guys had a crush on her, LOL. Friendships with most of the teachers and office staff, including Mr. Doud, and most will be missed. Another reason we should all attend the 45th Reunion before we regret it.

Another memory was working at parking cars for our first Big Time Wrestling event. It was cool parking Andre The Giants Limo. We then looked up at the stars with friends on a clear night to see one star traveling east, stopping and going back the way it came. Hmmm!

Oh the Football and basketball games were great. We may not have been that great in sports in 1978, but it was fun to watch.
