School Story:
If you went to Buchanan do you remember coming to school one day and the *whole* school was TP'd? Well that little event was provided for you courtesy of my buddy Eric Dickieson and I. We never got caught but now our thirty year silence is broken!
My best Chamberlain HS story: Eric was in the band and I was a statistician for our (Tampa Tech) basketball team. After our respective games on Friday nights we would often meet up at Krispy Kreme on North Florida Avenue and together we would devour hot freshly baked doughnuts by the dozen. Remember insatiable munchies ;^) I hope he doesn't mind me telling that story.
OK, so I didn't graduate from Chamberlain but you may remember me from Buchanan Jr. High, I hope. I see lot of former friends and familiar faces here. Tony Scarpo kindly invited me to join your site as a guest when I notified him that Sandy Swann had passed away. Thanks for your hospitality.
Instead I went to Tampa Tech and learned a trade - which was a good move - it helped me to pay my way through college. Earned an engineering degree and have pursued my passion for technology in industrial automation and controls. Currently with Seminole Electric Cooperative, the *other* electric company in Florida, managing capital projects in our power generation plants.
Married in 1991 to Shari. We live on a little lake in Lutz, our two kids Griffin (14) and Schuyler (9) have been active in scouting and are both competitive sailors with Davis Island Youth Sailing. Shari and I dream of more and more time for sailboat cruising as time permits and I like a little competitive sailing too.
Griffin starts high school next year at Jesuit and has aspirations of a career in aviation. Schuyler is just a doll :^) either a girly-girl or a tom-boy when she wants to be, the best of both worlds.
