Hey, Wylie Bulldogs 1971,

  Awesome Reunion!!!!   Didn't you

have fun?  I think EVERYBODY had

a good time...it was family again (still)...

I'm praying for Danny Nevil that he will

give his heart to Jesus...He loves Danny

so much just like we all do...and also

Kay (Wheeler), too.  Don't know her

salvation status either though I respect

and love her greatly.  We ALL NEED JESUS.

AND THE HOLY GHOST IS THE VERY ESSENCE

OF LIFE...IF WE ARE CHRISTIANS, THEN WE

NEED TO TAKE THAT NEXT STEP AND DRINK

OF THE FOUNTAINS OF LIVING WATER.  (I'm not

shouting, just making a point).  We need to run

over with the Holy Ghost.  Jesus told the

disciples not to do any works after His resurrection

until they were filled with power from on high.

It is open to all belivers.  It's called "the latter rain" or

the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  It happened at Pentecost

and totally changed a fearful group of disciples hidden

in a locked room into

bold witnesses for Jesus.

The Bible then comes

alive and is an open book and is life to us

and makes complete sense.  We need the Word

so much.  It is our compass in life.  The Holy Ghost

wrote the Bible, and we need Him to fill us

to understand it and receive it into our spirits.

I love all of you.  You are family I've been away from far too long.  We need

to get together again asap and have some more fun.  Or be ready should Jesus

split the Eastern sky and we all rise 10,000 feet and meet Him in the air.  May

the circle be unbroken.  I want to see all of you in Heaven, and I am adding

a lot of you to my daily prayer list. (Many of you are already there.)   Heaven would

'indeed be a great reunion of Wylie 71.  Tonight was fun,

and I hope you enjoy the pictures.  It was my pleasure to donate my time to

the best Wylie Bulldog class in Wylie history.  Love to you all,  Mark Harper

Hey, Mighty Bulldogs 1971!

Photos are in from our awesome reunion.   I got a great deal on them (Was God at work or what?).  They are usually .29, but I got each print for .08!  Ten cents each plus 20% off.  It had been a $198.50 order I got for about $98.00.   Had 191 photos to start with and had to cull some because the bill was going out of control and due to a few technical difficulties with some of the pics (just a few of the snapshots)!  The portraits came out great.   LOL Am making a few extras... if you don't like these, then fire the hound out of me! They are not technically perfect photos, but dern near awesome.  A photo doesn't have to be technically perfect to be a great photo.  A person's mood and emotions must be captured whether or not every little thing is perfect...and these are dern near perfect.  I love them myself, and I'm the photographer!  Even the mailing envelopes look like Wylie Bulldog stuff!   MARK HARPER PHOTOGRAPHY does it up right or doesn't do it at all.  We wish to do more than is necessary and deliver more than is expected to be the best in Abilene.  And that studio IS coming on North 5th and Pine Street...a great location in Abilene!!!  Yeah!   Even the Banker  said so (that the money is coming!).  That makes me smile! I had planned to print the mailing envelopes, but got into a little budget crunch, but I think you will even like the envelopes, too.  Got a little purple in them!  Like Wylie...

Does anyone have Gary Clark Shannon's address in Thailand?  And Charley McCartey's? I believe definitely that they would like some of these photos.  I have printed 26 sets, which is enough for just about everyone who came that expressed interest. I am fully able to print more sets.  Any others can get reprints from any of us.  These photos are not copyrighted, so they can be copied or enlarged to your heart's content.  It turns out that I couldn't get CDs for the $10 I charged everybody.  Two CDs per student would have been $5.95, which would have left very little else for prints.  So I did the next best thing and gave you a lot of photos.  Could have done more if I had charged more...wisdom is the best teacher.

I continue to love this web site and feel that some or all of us involved should contribute something regularly to Lynn Peterson to keep it up.  It is a forum where we can keep up with each other and plan upcoming get-togethers with the local folks in Abilene/Potosi/Clyde (Bulldogs 71 of course)...I am willing to donate $25 to start it off.  Who else will give some to it?  We should, you know.  Lynn, please leave your address here, so the checks can come rolling in.  I know that you have paid for this site yourself.  It is no longer fair to you that you do so.  Thanks so much for coming up with such a great idea.

I feel that I never gave much at school back in high school days, so I hope something I can do can bless our Bulldog class now.  Seniors 71--the Greatest class ever at Wylie!   Mark Harper

Hi everyone! Just want to say how much I enjoyed getting to see all of you again. This reunion was such great fun. It was over too soon, and we need to do this again before ten years... maybe every year at our age... anyway, thank you Steve, for the beautiful pendants you gave us 12 Wylie gang members... I will cherish mine for sure. I hope everyone had a safe trip back home, those who came from out of town, and Gary, who came from out of country...wow! I was in awe at the lives some of you have led. Gee, I'm rather boring, compared to some of you guys! I wish I had your sense of adventure. I did live in Georgia, and Arkansas once! lol.  My daughter asked my little asian princess what grandma's friends were like... she grinned and said "They were old, but nice!" Ha! I don't feel that old, do yall? Thank you all for the hard work you put in on making this such a success, and Lynn, I too would gladly donate some money to help pay for this website so we can all keep up with each other a little better now. This is great! My phone number is 325-320-7570 if anyone wants to call and gab a little more some time. Love you all, Connie

hey wylie grads, yes it was a wonderful weekend. i had a blast--enjoyed seeing everyone, and i hated it to be over.  it was all a "labor of love" from the whole committee. as far as this website goes, it will be discontinued on the 16th of May. there are not but a hand full that use it, and i don't feel it to be fisable to keep it going. we should have everyone's address and e-mail after this weekend, so i think we should just drop them an e-mail or pick up the good 'ol phone---i still like to hear people's voices.  anyway, i appreciate the financial support from each of you that want to contribute but i think you should hold onto your $$$ and use it elsewhere.  so before this site goes down, everyone that wants to, go into each profile and copy the other classmates info, etc to stay in touch. again, thank you for making my school years, and my life, so much richer having known each one of you. so until we meet again---Happy Trails.  love you all, lynn

Hey, Bulldogs,

Not to despair.  Everyone who ordered photos will get

a CD.  Got that little wrinkle taken care of in record time

with quality workmanship...and should you get a CD that

isn't up to snuff, I made some extras, so I can send or deliver

you one (that works!)

Did everyone order photos that wanted them? I am seeing

some people who did not sign up for any....maybe an oversight.

Call me or email me   325-692-1822  or Harp3M@aol.com if you have

any questions.  Local people may meet at a Whataburger or McDonalds and

save me having to drive all over town delivering them.  I will set a time and call

everybody when it's time to pick them up.  Others' will be mailed.

You will be pleasantly surprised.   Mark Harper has done it again!  (Thank YOU

Jesus)

I have even included a list of all our names, addresses. and some phone

numbers of attendees who ordered photos, so we can call and visit to our

heart's content.  Don't be stressed, be blessed.  Mark

Hi folks!

I will be at the What a Burger on south 27th and the Winters freeway

on Saturday the 14th at 2:00 pm  to pass out photo packets.  I will be calling the

list to let them know.  Any of you would be welcome to come by the house on

Saturday to pick up yours if you can't go to Whataburger.  Just want to make

this as simple as possible for everyone concerned.  I hope you are pleasantly

surprised at the pictures and CDs.  There is also a list of names and addresses of

attendees of the Reunion so we can call and visit to our heart's desire. If you

have any questions or suggestions call me at 325-692-1822.  I would be glad

to hear from any and all of you.  Blessings.   Mark Harper
