After graduation I did a lot of partying hardy. Managed to keep a job at First Energy in the IT department through the 80's and 90's. I don't remember a lot about this time period. I got fired in 1999. Started working at Progressive Insurance Co. in 2001. I also got sober in 2001 and have stayed that way. Progressive moved us to Colorado when they built a new data center for disaster recovery. I tried a few classes at Colorado Technical University. College algebra and networking. Got A's but did not continue because I don't want to do that much work for the next 10 to 15 years for a degree. I'm learning a lot about disaster recovery in case the data center in Cleveland gets wiped out. There are a lot of outdoor activities here in Colorado. I like to hike. I've taken the cog railroad to the top of Pikes Peak and hiked all the way down. 13 miles. I should have gotten in better shape before attempting this. I couldn't walk normally for about two days afterword. I now take more scenic hikes and drives through the mountains. I do not want to move back to Ohio. The climate here is wonderful. Lower humidity and an average of 300 days a year of sunshine!!!!

I was in the band for two years and had a lot of fun with everyone. We were at band practice and the percussion section was supposed to be quiet while the rest of the band practiced a certain part. Well, we were goofing off and making too much noise and Mr. Martin took all of our drum sticks and threw them out the window.
