Jordan - B:12/18/83, graduated from U.N.M. and is currently working in radiology.
Afton - B:9/18/85, graduated from U.N.M. school of Nursing, and is practicing nursing in Albuquerque.
Ashley - B:6/02/87, graduated from H.S. in Belen, NM and is currently unemployed.
Jason - B:11/17/90, acquired his G.E.D. last year and is currently unemployed.

I really feel that growing up in Alamosa was a blessing. My roots are still embeded in the S.L.V. and I have many fond memories that will last forever.

I got married in 1962, and was bessed with a Daughter Sherri, born in 1963. I worked as a mechanic at Sorum Tractor until 1964 at which time I moved to Salt Lake City to attend American Technology Institute. After graduation I returned to Alamosa and worked for Montgomery Ward as a service technician. I was hired by the State of Colorado in 1966 to work as a radio technician trainee in Denver. I divorced in 1968 and was single until I married Evelyn in 1973. We bought a small bungalow near Washington Park and Evelyn commuted to Longmont for thirteen years to teach English, Literature and German at Longmont High School. Evelyn retired in 1986 and in 1987 we moved to a home in east Denver. We lived there until I retired in 1997 and moved into a townhome in Aurora. We like to go to art shows and museums, attend the symphony periodically and try out new restaurants on occasion. Other than that, we stay pretty close to home.

I have made it a goal to stay in shape. I have done that for the most part by exercising and eating foods that are healthful. I enjoy running outdoors in the summer and running on the treadmill during the winter. After I retired, I joined an art club and began taking art classes and workshops. I really found my niche when I started drawing and painting the figure in watercolors. I met up with one of our classmates at a figure drawing class; Sue Baker (Dawson). What a small world! I also like to play my guitar, do odd jobs, and help Evelyn around the house.
