Hi Doug. Been a few years. Great hearing from you. Welcome to the site. I just retired as well. Thought about you numerous times through the years. We had a lot of laughs back in the day.

Hi Neal. Long time, no see!
I was at a banquet last week and saw someone that worked with Eric for a number of years. He told me of Eric's passing. I was sorry to hear it. My memory of Eric was that he was a really good guy. Here's his obituary I found this morning:

ERIC NILSSON
JERSEYVILLE — Eric Nilsson, 61, died at 5:50 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2018 at Jerseyville Manor.
Born July 7, 1956, in Alton, he was the son of Roland and Barbara Lee (Henderson) Nilsson.
Eric retired from Illinois Power as a heavy equipment operator.
On July 14, 1995, he married the former Connie Free in Alton. She survives.
Also surviving is a son, Justin Nilsson of Alton, a brother and sister-in-law, Craig and Ann Nilsson of Astoria, Oregon, a niece, Hallie Nilsson, and a nephew, Ned Nilsson.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ned Nilsson.
There will be a private family service at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
