Randall A. Schoch

May 9, 1942  - December 6, 2024

This is going to be the hardest obituary that I have put up on our website.  Randy and I met when we both were 11 years old.   We were a couple for along time, we were married for along time and eventually  had three daughters  (Deana, Suzanne and Christine).  We ended up getting a divorce and Randy remarried Jackie.  They had two more daughters (Heidi and Gretchen).  We remained friends and always  came to celebrations that involved our children.

Two days ago Gretchen called Deana and told her Randy had fallen and was in the hospital.  They thought he had a stroke and had a brain bleed.  They transferred him to a larger hospital in DC. He had a brain catherization and his condition seemed to improve.  He even called Deana and talked to her on the phone that night.  The next day things seemed to go down hill and the children and grandchildren  were all called.  He was put on a ventilator.  Deana and Suzanne left early this  morning for Maryland.  They were keeping him on the ventilator until they got there.   I was informed  that he was going to be cremated and there will be a Celebration Of Life on the same day one year from now.

If there is an obituary or other information I will add it   Sandy.

Sandy...so sorry to hear of Randy's passing. I remember when we were flag twirlers in junior high school you said then you were going to marry him! How wonderful after the divorce you two were mature enough to keep coming together as now 2 families, with your shared daughters.

Thank you, Sandy, for working so hard to keep our class of 1960, now slowly dwindling away...connected.   Fondly,    Barbara (Szymusiak) Feduska
