I am so saddened to add this special "Angel" to our memory list. Even though I have been following her journey and knew she was not doing well; it is an immense loss to me and our class. Harold and Virginia were at our 55th class reunion and it was wonderful to spend those precious days with her. Our sincere sympathy goes out to Harold and his three daughters. Our family would like to invite you to pay your final respects to our beloved mother, Virginia.
Mom will be at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in south Huntsville. Visitation will be on Sunday, Jan 3rd from 5 - 7 pm. The family will also receive visitors from 10 - 11 am, Monday with a funeral mass immediately following. We will post more details along with her obituary later today.

Life Legacy
Virginia Miller Stitt, 73, of Huntsville, AL, lost her 2-yr battle with cancer on Tues., Dec. 29, 2015, passing away at home surrounded by her loving family. She worked many years as an administrative assistant at the Hsv-Madison County Mental Health Center. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by father, Thomas L. Miller; mother, Mary Williams Miller; sister, Zada Miller McCauley and several aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 yrs., Harold Stitt; loving daughters, Mary Lee Stitt, Amy Stitt, and Becky Plott (Charles); grandchildren, Ashlyn and Justin Plott; step grandchildren, Bryan and Taylor Plott; sister, Barbara Miller Clowson; brother, Richard A. Miller; several cousins, nieces and nephews; special friends: Patricia Bellknap, Sue Saint, Joyce Smith, & Karen Stanley; and dog, Izzy.
Her biggest loves were working in her flower garden; bowling; yoga classes at the SE YMCA; laughing with her husband, spending time with her daughters; dancing in the closet with her granddaughter; watching her grandson play sports; visiting with family & friends; loving on her dog (Izzy); Penn State football; and her UAH Charger family.
Visitation will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Sun. Jan. 3rd from 5-7 pm; and Mon., Jan. 4th from 10-11 am, followed by a funeral mass.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Huntsville Animal Services on Triana Blvd or A New Leash on Life Organization.

So sorry to hear of your loss.Harold, I'm sure she is in a better place, but that doesn't soothe the miss from those remaining here on earth. Without a doubt, you will join her one day in the future. Dear Harold and family. I was so very sorry to hear of Ginny's passing. It has been wonderful seeing both of you at the last few reunions. I always remember the good times we had in High School. Ginny and I worked together on the yearbook. Our love and prayers to you and the family. I will always remember how loving and kind Ginny has been. Reading on Facebook, I can see what a wonderful family you have.

I was so sorry to learn of Virginia's passing as she was such a special person in my life. Virginia and I danced together both at high school dances and also with the Altoona Bandstand at memorial park and Lakemount park. We also entered a dance contest together and I am proud to say that we won the event and went to Bandstand to recieve the winning prise. Virginia, Ginny, was and will always be remember with love in my heart. She and her husband were always there at the class reunions supporting her class of 1960. Again I am deeply sadden of her passing and I pray that she will always rest in peace and the hopes that we will cross paths in the world of internal life.
