Patricia L. Kling, 79, Altoona, passed away Saturday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Patsy A. Campanaro and Lois (Auman) Miller.

Surviving are three daughters: Michele (Andrew) Konitsky, Stacy McIntyre and Jamie (Jeffrey) Hershey; eight grandchildren: William J. (Rebecca) Kling, Ashley A. Kling, Brant A. Bohn, Mark G. Bohn, Alyssa B. Hershey, Adam J. Hershey, Hunter McIntyre and Khaleb Mickey; five great-grandchildren: Isabel Kling, Teresa Kling, Sofia Kling, Giovanna Kling and Evelynn McIntyre; a sister, Mary Ann Campanaro; and a brother, Patsy Campanaro.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Judith D. Anderson.

Patricia was an Altoona High School graduate. She most recently worked as a bartender at the Allegro Restaurant and formerly at Sid’s Lounge. She was also manager of the Winner’s Lounge in the Hollidaysburg Bowling Alley. She was also a food demonstrator at Sam’s Club, an asset protection security officer and had worked in cafeteria food service for the Altoona Area School District.

She was very active at Blair Senior Services and enjoyed playing Bingo, shopping and watching old TV shows. She loved her animals and especially the company of her cat, Sidney.

Patricia was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Santella Funeral Home, where a vigil for the deceased will be held.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Altoona. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Patricia to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 16th Floor, New York, NY 10001; or Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.

Hello Classmates: 

My husband and I were away and we had two deaths while we were gone.  Sorry for the delay.  Patty was in the same nursing home as my mother.  .
