Graduated from Carnegie Mellon in Pgh in 1993, with a degree in music composition, moved to Pgh in '94 after a year in retail at Mervyn's at Baybrook. Got certified to teach music in '97, got my master's in music ed in 2001, married Jenn in 2002. I'm now the elementary band director at Wilkinsburg School District, and I still compose. Strangely, I have become an instrument collector as well. It's complicated to explain here.
