i remember i think it was reunion 1O, pam and i walked in late to find our table wayyyy across the room. as we pass by everyone, david kenyon, said, “hi ya’ll! i see you and pam are still dating!” haha! i have to hand it to him , hilarious! just good friends! then last reunion, i can’t believe it’s already been 10 more years since then!!!! yup! you guessed it, pam and i wern’t able to attend, so we layed on our sofas via satelite, pam in ohio and i was en tejas and watched the classic cornball comedy ROMIE AND MICHELLE’S HIGHSCHOOL REUNION synchronized on our laptops to celebrate the occasion, hahah!!!! LOL!!!!! & LOAOOOOOO!!!!! our philosophy for life and the laughter no matter what still continues!!!!
it feels like yesterday, i remember my wonderful father telling me, he and my mom were going to his 40th high school reunion in upstate new york. honestly, i remember my reaction, “oh that’s great, ya’ll have fun!” inside i was like seriously that’s old as F!!!!!! OAF!!!!! 4o?!??! WTF!!!! are you even kidding me! suddenly, its a next level personal WTF! my own 40th! my dear father went to heaven last year. we’ve stay in touch with the red cardinal bird, cosmic sightings, truly beautiful and i still miss him most of anyone who has flown to the great beyond yet. well, i’m so sorry i won’t be able to attend this year. good news! i’m living my dream! i’ve wanted to live on the ocean, the caribbean ocean for decades and now i’m in the mexican riviera maya! yup! drinking margaritas and watching families of tucans flysong in the afternoon and 200lb+++ turtles lay their eggs at night on the beach here while dancing and delighting in the magica turquoise caribbean sea. there have been peaks and valleys indeed to get here, but the song this ocean sings to my heart is a blessed now, ecstatic joy, to the place where i am so happy forever young still going for and living my dreams!
thank you so much rodney scott and everyone who has coordinated these gatherings! i have been blessed to hear about everyone and what a delight to remember everybody even though some of the memories in that time arent all so fun, many are, and well in the perspective now of all of this life so far, no matter what chapter of life is, it is all truly precious! beautiful! to be appreciated no matter what! i loved what victor taylor said about tommy epps and ‘the epps equation’. victor said “tommy thought everyone was cool. whoever he was talking to was the coolest person in the world, that’s how he approached the world.”
may we be with ourselves and each other in that way in every moment! and if that’s not always possible,…kick ass and STAY WILD!!!!!! BIG LOVE!!!!! AND….BLOW SAND!….BLOW!!!!!

ps. i just met a lovely woman yesterday with the cutest dog where i live in mexico from montreal, canada. i said do you speak french and she said, french is my first language. i replied, my french teacher in highschool madame broyles was from montreal. also, a year after graduating from highschool, traveling in europe, a few friends in french class and i ran into madame broyles serendipitously coincidentallly totally unplanned in france at a chateau!!!! oh which one was it!??!?! chateau de chenonceau maybe?!?!?! we were ALL blown away!
