It's a long paragraph from 1968 to now. I must skip a few things.
It took 3 wives to get 7 children. I got a couple of electronics degrees and worked in several places fixing things.
Every time I ventured away from Idaho I came back home sick and broke. So, in 1988 I stayed in Boise. I gave Micron 15 years of my life then moved on to financial services where I get to help and teach folks how to turn their faded dreams into reality for retirement. It is a lot of fun.
I was into sprint boat racing for a few years. I won the National Championship in the Super Modified Class in 2004. Then sold the boat so I could take flying lessons. Always the thrill seeker I guess.
I always wanted to fly so invested in a private pilot license. That's a lot of fun too. I have been flying for 9 years now.
I now still enjoy motorcycles, camping, fishing, boating, and traveling. I have been to Holland, Germany, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and India. The best part of that was I got paid to go there.
Tim Hayhurst finally found out who put the toilet on Hayhurst Avenue. I think someone also knows who put the outhouse in the parking lot. And Paul Herndon probably knows everyone that put his Bug sideways on the gym steps. I have lots of fun stories from my high school time.
Who remembers getting hauled out???
David's Latest Interactions
Steve was one of my good friends. He was a real nut. Always up to mischief. And inviting friends to join in. Have some good memories of Steph. We used to call him Steff for short. We fished in the fish hatchery one summer night when the fishing in the river was no good. We caught some there alright. Then we paid for it by being on probation for the rest of the summer with a 10pm curfew. Just when the action got good at the Nat.
Shirley Robinson's dad was the probation officer. He made it bearable for us. Think of you often Steph.
Happy birthday!!
