Heidi, I am glad you mentioned Tammy Carroll. I was very new to Cashman school then, but will never forget that. I have thought about that to this day. I believe it was May of '76? I remember that memorial book, but I doubt I have one. It would be a touching piece of the reunion if someone has one.

Arline,

Caroline Krause has quite a few pics on Facebook that she said you could use. Just wanted to make sure you remember that. She has a class picture which is excellent!

I did really know Tammy but was struck by her tragic death and the devastation of the fire and her family. In sixth grade I decided to give playing the flute a try at the encouragement of my mom. The music instructor of whom I forget his name, offered me a used flute. It was from Tammy’s family. The case was a little melted and the end piece tended to loosen up while playing it, but it had otherwise survived. I only played for a year and a half before retiring it. I passed it on to a dear friend of mine who gave it to his sister for her kids.

I also remember hearing of the fire and loss of the girls in the 5th grade. I remember just crying all day and even now get tears in my eyes and a heaviness to my heart.

I will not be able to attend the reunion which I truly wanted to. I was so looking forward to meeting up with old friends and making new. I still am hoping to have lunch with Tim Cameron down here in Florida and to getting to Disney and seeing Caroline again! I'll look for some old photos this weekend.

I truly hope everyone has a great time and that we have another reunion one day.

Thank you to everyone who was able to dig up some pictures and share them. I know it wasn't an easy task. Even I had a lot less that I would have thought. But, I think with what we have it'll be a good show and will hopefully make us smile as we remember some long ago, possibly forgotten moments.

See you all on Saturday.

Hugs,
Arline

Thank you Arline for putting that together. I am going to be able to make the meeting on Thursday. Better late than never, as they say. I hope you guys can put me to work doing something that needs to be done since I haven't made any of the meetings. Lynne

For those of you unable to attend the school tour tonight, it truly isn't the same school we went to so long ago. It was funny that some of the attendees said they had seen their old lockers, and there were some things that are pretty much the same (like the cafe), but it is very different for the most part. Can you believe they don't serve rollups any more? LOL Thanks to Mr. Noon (sorry, still can't call him just Ralph even now!)for a great tour. See you tomorrow night!

Great time last night - kudos to everyone who had a hand in putting it all together. It was great to catch up with everyone - too little time, though. I felt like we needed about 12 hours instead of a few. Hope Mike didn't drive everyone crazy with the camera, but he got some great shots. Steve, I'll be getting those to you soon and to Arline too for the next go around. We should try to get the recipe for the roll-ups and post it on the site for everyone, hmm? Anyone know how to get in contact with any of the lunch ladies from then? lol
Our best to all, Heidi (Clark) & Mike McIntyre

What a great time Sally & I had last night. It's funny how you can go so long without seeing old friends and how quickly you are able to reconnect. Some things/people never change (on the inside at least) and i'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing....LOL. It was fun reminiscing about Mr. Clarks chemistry class with Keith Palmer & (Brian)Kevin Lariviere. It was also really nice to see & talk to Mr. & Mrs. Mac, Mr. Adams, oops I mean Wayne, and Ralph Noon. We were really lucky to have such a wonderful bunch of teachers as them way-back-when. Everyone that went through the trouble putting the Reunion together for all of us really deserve a lot of credit and i just want to say thank you so much to them all. You guys did a fantastic job and should be very proud of yourselves.

Oh, where do I start? Like all of you I think we could have made an entire weekend out of it and we'd all still be standing there talking.

Bill, you're right...it's like 25 years have passed but not a day has gone by when you stand there with and old friend.

...I think the very best I got out of all of this was NEW friends! People you just didn't know in high school, for no particular reason...and after a few months of working together on the reunion you constantly find yourself saying, "Why weren't we friends in high school?"

I know I'm repeating a lot of what everyone else has said, but we graduated with an awesome, wonderful group of people. I'm so happy to have each and every one of you in my life!!!

Let's not wait too long to get together again.

Hugs,
Arline

P.S. I posted an announcement for pictures from last night for the next reunion, but anyone that's able to email me some (ASAP) I'll add them to Tim Talbots "Flashback to the 80s" Reunion care package.
If nothing else it'll give his troops something to snicker about when they watch the video. hehehehehe

Seems I missed a great time last night. Was definitely thinking about all of you and wishing I was there. Glad to hear it went off well and hopefully will be able to make a future date.

Janet:no fair, description was too good and now I am craving something sweet :)

Mark: sounds like the band was as good as ever. Keep up the work, the CD is amazing.

Indeed a class of wondrous people whom touch the world in many different ways. I look forward to the CD only hoping there were not to many laughs at my expense :)

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts. It is for you and your families that I do what I do. Take care and enjoy

THANKS SO MUCH TIM!!! I know we ALL appreciate what you are doing for us, our loved ones and Americans in general! Keep your spirits up and eyes open! We WILL see you at the next one! I suggested next weekend but I haven't heard from anyone.........

Tim!!!! So good to hear from you. Didn't know if this site would be blocked. Not to worry....no entertainment at your expense. Maybe a little at all of our expense when you see the clothes and the big hair. But, heck...it was the 80s.
The package will be on it's way to you tomorrow.
Do you have a dvd player to watch the show or should I send one?
Sending lots of hugs from our corner!

Arline,

DVD/CD is fine. Have all the necessary trappings for a pretty decent life here. Looking forward to seeing it. BTW thanks for all your work and support as well.

Janet,
Sorry tied up next weekend but will take a raincheck for later this year :)

Great night for all last night!
It was great to see everyone. There was not enough time to catch up with all but we can keep it going here.

Kudos to everyone that helped with setting it all up. They all did a super job to pull off a fun night.

Hey Tim,
Thanks for everything you guys are doing. Hope to see you at the next one. Salute.

The roll-ups, OMG, I haven't stopped thinking about their sinful gooey goodness since the tour of the school. I'm sorry Heather I know you can't understand our love of them, they probably are so bad for you, but soooo good at the same time. A recipe would be fabulous, I have told my daughter about them many times and she thinks I am crazy.

Tim we really missed having you there, you were in all of our thoughts. I understand very well all the sacrifices our men and women make for our country, Thank you. Take good care....

I am totally for a nice brunch Arline.

Mark, thank you for sharing your music with us, I really enjoyed your heartfelt lyrics and humor. Best of luck with your CD.

Talking to everyone about their journey since high school was so much fun, I admit I was a little nervous about going, but I truly am grateful I did. We really did graduate with a great group of people and I look forward to the next time.

I couldn’t make the walk through at the High School but will try to see it soon. It sounds impressive.

Mark - thanks for starting the party Friday night with an awesome show. You're an incredibly talented musician, song writer, and entertainer. We can all say we remember you when...

It was great seeing everybody Saturday night – the night was too short. The format was great as it allowed everyone to mingle. Excellent job by the Reunion Committee! Thank you to everybody that made it such a fun night.

Hey, I'm a little slow on the uptake here. I started reading the messages from the begining.I just wanted to comment on Tammy Carrol. The date was April 12, 1976 approximately 11:45 P.M. when that God awful tragedy occurred.I was only 12 years old and witnessed the whole event as I lived next door.I watched in horror as my father and older brothers tried in vain to rescue the children ( my dear freinds) inside. It is something that no human being should ever have to go through, I will carry this the rest of my life.Let us not forget that four of tammy's sisters perished with her.I have tears in my eyes as I type this.I will never ever forget them.
