Linda Baumler Koziol

Since ACHS, I attended the Cleveland Institute of Music for a Bachelors in voice performance. I then taught in the Buffalo schools while obtaining my graduate degree from UB. I taught general music and chorus in many schools, and ended my career teaching in Lancaster five years ago. For the last twenty-two years, I have taught private voice to local singers of all ages. I still enjoy performing, when asked!
I am so excited about working with this group to produce our Boomers reunion show!

My four years at Amherst were some of the best of my life. I loved all the activities and the social life, but the most fun I had was in the chorus room. I always thought I might have been a real success at school, if those darn math and gym classes hadn't got in the way! I especially loved working on the magazine drive skits, and being in the operettas and class plays. I made life long friends-many of whom are still in my life.
The most difficult thing was losing my best friend, and partner in crime, Sharon Hess, this past April, after a long fight with cancer. I know she would have loved being part of this reunion, and I'm sure we would find a way to be center stage together.
I am hoping to see many of my dear friends in June, and looking forward to being on that stage with them again !!!
