Jane Henderson Stock

I've married and moved to Fairport, NY. I started a Christian nursery school and then started teaching in Brighton at Council Rock. I taught kindergarten and then did looping with first and second graders. Retired a few years ago but am still very active as a substitute teacher in my own school. I still love being back in the classroom! I'm known for my chipmunk puppets which have become a mascot for the school! I'm involved in Burroughs Audubon Nature Club and have been attending the Allegany Nature Pilgrimage for over 50 years! I see Jay Wopperer every year at the pilgrimage!

I remember most the many years I was involved in the Amherst musicals playing in the orchestra. I still recall all the field trips made with the band and orchestra especially to the World's Fair in NY and to north of Toronto to perform. I continued playing my oboe for many years! Now I love to sing with my church choir and with a quartet in the summer.
