Stephanie Kim Ludt, 34, of Stockton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded
by her family and friends on October 25th 2004, after a year long battle with
Cancer. She was born June 13th, 1970 in Los Angeles, Calif. In May of 2003, she
earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Sacramento State University.
Stephanie was a social worker for the County of San Joaquin Human Services
Agency. She loved her job where she was able to help others stay independent in
their own homes. She loved to work in the garden (if the worms stayed away),
loved to paint both canvas and walls, and loved to plan improvements that we
were going to make to our home. She will always be remembered for her quick wit
and beautiful smile. She loved all animals and worked to make sure that they
were well fed, loved, and healthy.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her beloved cats Whiner, Herman, and her dog Freddie.
She is survived by her partner of six years, David Marian of Stockton, and their three cats, Daisy, Patches and Caddy. Other survivors include: her mother, Karin Ludt of Rancho Cordova; father, Walter Ludt of Meade, Kansas and sister Claudine Ludt, of Anaheim, California. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, December 5th, 2004 at the Rivermill in French Camp.
