I only had 3 camping trips planned for this summer, and of course you guys set 2 of the happy hours during 2 of them!:( I would really like to come to one of these happy hours, so don't get happy houred out before I am able to make one! :) I will be camping from August 20th - 24th, then after that, I should be able to make the next happy hour regardless of which day you pick, so make sure you plan another one sometime soon! :)
I have seen a couple of postings recently of people looking for babysitters, and I wanted to let people know that I know of 2 VERY GOOD and RESPONSIBLE babysitters! :) My daughter Diana is absolutely amazing with kids! I have a daycare in my home (for about 13 years now), so my daughter was born into it. Needless to say, she is my mini-me (and in some ways even better :) when it comes to taking care of kids! :) She absolutely LOVES kids, and is amazing and creative when playing with them, as well as kind with the discipline. Little kids love to play with her, and tend to listen to her very well. She will be 11 years old in a few weeks (Sept), but already has some references. The youngest she has babysat for so far is 1 year old, and the oldest is 8 years old. So she does have references if you are interested. As for infants under 1 year old, she has helped me with infants in my daycare and is very good, but has not babysat by herself for one under a year. I feel comfortable with her ability to care for an under 1 year old, but would want you to do a trial with her maybe just going somewhere for an hour or two and seeing how it goes before doing longer times (I'm just talking in regards to the under 1 year, as she could do any amount of time for 1 year and older). The other girl I could refer to you is my friends daughter (and my daughters best friend), who is going to be 14 years old in the next few weeks. She has babysat for all ages, has references, and is also amazing with kids. She was one of my daycare kids (started at 18 months) and she, along with my daughter, are always wanting to help out my daycare.
If anybody is ever interested in either Diana or Nicole babysitting, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL ME! We can set something up for either of them to meet you and your kids and you can decide if you would want them as your babysitters! :0) Trust me, your child/ren would have a blast, and I promise you would be very happy too! :)
