The day after the reunion we sold our house. Wasn't expecting such a quick sale. Since we hadn't found another place to live, we moved in with our son & daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren. Planning to be with them for a couple of weeks turned in to 3 months. We learned in October 2013 that my husband Guy had stage 4 Pancreatic cancer. This certainly took the wind out of our sails. We went through a few chemo treatments and then went to our condo in Marco Island late January and continued treatment there til May. Meanwhile we did a lot of real estate investigation and bought a home in Gilberts, Il. I had no idea that I was to become a country girl. We've acclimated ourselves to our new environment and Guy continues to battle the cancer. Anyone who has time to say a prayer for him would be very much appreciated. We are so blessed to have had 49 years of marriage and have created so many beautiful memories. Life has certainly been good to us. Blessings on all of you and hope to get together again soon

Colorado, Michigan and live part time in Marco Island Florida

I've enjoyed traveling, reading, crocheting and spending time with family and friends. We spend much of our time in Marco Island, Fl. when we get an opportunity to get away. We have 6 grandchildren ranging in age from 26 to 5. Our children and their spouses live in the area so we spend many hours with family.

Guy & I have been members of St. Edna Catholic Church in Arlington Heights for 40 years. We are active in our parish and community.

Guy & I are global distributors of Shaklee health and home care products. We've enjoyed meeting new friends and traveling with our Shaklee family.

I've worked in many capacities from administrative assistant to managerial positions. I've enjoyed learning through experience along with some credited course work. Life has been a blessing and as we continue through our senior years, I pray we have continued health to carry on new life experiences.

You've got to let go of past regrets and live each day with the promise that God is in control and you are exactly where you are meant to be.
