From Stephanie Candela McCafferty

I have sad news to report. Our dear classmate and my dear friend passed away today. Mary Cooney Arkkelin fought a brave battle against cancer the last 4 years. I spoke with her often and she never complained. I know you will all remember how much fun she was and how she loved to dance! I read a quote recently that said, "Death ends a life but not a friendship." We all have our special memories of our friendship with her. She is at peace.....dancing with the Angels!
