Patty DiGiacomo Stauffeneger

I want to thank Tim and his committee for all of their time and planning for our 40th reunion. Thank you for all of the updates.

I retired from teaching in June of 2009. My 32 year career consisted of teaching Jr. High English for three years at my elementary alma mater, Mt. Carmel School until I resigned in 1977 before the birth of our son. In 1980 I was hired as the French teacher at Ashtabula High School where I taught French and some English for 29 years. I was blessed with a wonderful career, having the opportunity to travel to France and other European contries with students several times.

I have many fond memories of our four years at St.John. There are times when I can vividly picture classroom situations, dances, athletic events as if they just happened. I also remember laughing alot in those four years thanks to Richard DiDonato, Ann Sespico, Janis Foglio, Chris Chritopher, Tim McCarthy, my sister, Bobbi, Paul Ballard, only to name a few. It's funny how we go through our daily lives, when out of the blue we think of a school experience, or a classmate.
