William Philip Sauser, age 46 of Elm, passed away suddenly at home on November 1, 2017. He was born in Vineland and was a lifelong resident of Winslow Twp. He graduated from Edgewood Regional High School in 1989. He formerly worked for D'Amico Construction in Southampton, NJ. Billy enjoyed riding Dirt Bikes and working on all types of motorcycles. His passion was rescuing dogs like Springer and Bocephus. Billy is survived by his parents William and Alva (nee DelGuercio )Sauser of Elm. He will be sadly missed by many friends and family.
*** I met Bill in Miss Presti's 2nd grade class at Winslow Elementary School #1. I sat next to or in front of him in homeroom all throughout high school. Bill and I always had good conversations. He was extremely bright and possessed an amazing sense of humor - he was so quick-witted and well read. He carried a novel with him everywhere - and was the only person I knew who read the entire Stephen King collection by 11th grade! You might think that this tough-looking, denim wearing, bike riding, heavy metal quiet giant would care less about his high school years, but Bill attended 2 of our 3 reunions to genuinely just to say hi. Rest is peace old friend.
