School Story:
My brother Charles and I attended Ragsdale from 1950 to '55. We lived or Arlington Ave which was about three blocks from school. We walked to school with our friends James Akins, Madeline Harcourt, Martha Justice and others I wish I could remember. It was a great time in our lives. Each year brought new and special memories. I remember when Mr. Fain became or principal. Our 7th grade class met in the auditorium our teacher was Mrs Fain. Do you remember Ms. Thrasher, she was my third grade teacher, she was a terror but she taught me so much. I remember school safety patrol and the great trip we took to Washington on the train. They kept the boys and girls in seperate cars, don't know why. There are so many wonderful memories of Ragsdale and all our class mates and the neighborhoods that we lived in. May we always remember those days with a warm heart and a big smile our our faces.
