Robert " Bobby" Edwards passed away on June 6, 2010 after a brief illness. His obituary is in the Atlanta Journal on June 7th. For years he was active in the Adult Singels Sunday School Class at Wieuca Road Baptist Church prior to moving to Roswell Street Baptist Church in 2009. He was devoted to his mother, brother and nieces and nephews. He received Christ as his personal savior in 1957.

Bobby was one of a handful of students who went from NHS on to Young Harris College (along with Phil Maddox from '59; Larry Braden, Medora Kise, Red Williams, and myself that I remember). Bobby was always "one of the guys" and everyone got along well with him. He will be missed by me and his YHC buddies. I will let YHC know of his passing. May he rest in peace. John

At the 40th reunion, Harriette James Simmons and I enjoyed a long visit with Bobby, and were looking forward to seeing him again. He had a very sweet spirit.
