Barbara Bailey Gaines

The last twenty five years I have been married to Jimmy Gaines. We live on a ranch in the Texas hill country where we raise Beefmaster cattle.

Following graduating UT I was involved in the development of the Texas wine industry with the hope that the industry that was here years ago would once again become a reality. It was exciting involving agriculture, chemistry, marketing, etc....

In the late 70's and early 80's I was Director of Special Programs for Peter Flawn while he was President of UT Austin. My favorite job ever!
