After 4 years of college and 2 years of minor league pro ball, with the Red Sox, I began my real work life with the LCRA in 1983. I married Jana Sue Bessent, 1979 McCallum Grad, in 1987 and we had George in 1989. I continued to work at the LCRA until 2011 when I decided to retire to begin another career. This time with Doble Engineering as a Principal Engineer for the client service department. I represent to clients in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma as well as offer instructions through out the region. We recently bought a property on Lake Buchanan and are currently adding a kitchen to the cabin. Once complete the photos will be added.

Been quite a while since the last update. In 2022 I changed my work hours to 25 part-time per week. Jana has been fully retired since 2021 and is cancer free since 2019, yay. I plan to retire fully December 2025. That is unless they offer some obscene amount of money for my continued SME efforts to the young and up and coming client service engineers.

Looking forward to attending the 50th in June excited to see folks again. Have been keeping up with Brad Hill, Robert Acevedo, Dick Hunter, Gary Mitchell, Kenneth Brimberry and Duane Heckmann with lunches and events like the Pennington Golf tournament. See ya soon.

Can't place the year but I remember the large Christmas tree in the old mall during the holiday season. Upon return from winter break somebody set fire to the tree and it like burnt up in a few seconds. Quite the blaze.
