I graduated from Mississippi State University with my bachelor's degree in 1992 and completed my master's degree in education at Ole Miss in 1999. I began teaching school with the DeSoto County schools in 1992, and other than a brief "retirement" for 3 years, have remained with this school district working my way up to senior teacher at DeSoto Central High School.
My husband is a fulltime firefighter/paramedic for the city of Southaven and part time elected public official for the city of Olive Branch who was just honorably discharged from the Tennessee Air Force National Guard. McCoy is a third grader and year-round soccer player at DCES. Fallin is a 9 month old world-class crawler! Needless to say, between work and soccer obligations we are busy full-time but do attend and are members of First Baptist Church Olive Branch.
