Karen Norwood Kennedy

Went to Susquehanna University (with Jen Norkus Marionni)...had such good times and made such good friends...was hard to leave and enter the 'grown up world!' So...I really didn't!! I messed around with all kinds of different jobs and in several different states. Lots of life experiences later, I settled in Richmond, VA. I earned my Masters in clinical social work from VCU in 2004. I met my husband in 1999 and we got married in 2002. I worked as a school social worker for Henrico County until Ethan was born. I have been home since and it has been quite a change but something I wouldn't trade for the world. I'm still hopelessly devoted to Bruce Springsteen and my husband is totally OK with that!! ha! ha!

My parents, Tracy, Jimmy, John and Meghan all live in Virginia with their families/signifigant others. I'm really grateful for my family being close. I don't really like Richmond much and would love to move back to BR. I doubt that would ever happen, but I would love it. Jim is from western PA and has had enough of the snow...I still try to talk him into it during these hot summers here in VA.

oh dear....well....check out Christine Horning's profile about the 'pass' story. I remember it exactly the same! Let's see what else....leaving school for lunch, Southard (sp?) Park, "look, a deer" (you know who you are!), pre-prom party at my house, bursting into tears and running into the bathroom during my presentation on comas in Miss Grifa's class...hello? what was THAT about!? Breaking my TOE and having to wear that stupid boot, my red "Dorothy" shoes, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN at the Valley Diner...ok...who's idea was THAT?!?!
