Went to nursing school at Pilgrim State Hospital, graduated in 1972. Worked for 2 1/2 years, then entered the US Air Force. Was first stationed in California, then Germany, where I met and married my husband Mike, and had both of my children. I got out of the Air Force after the birth of my second child; Mike stayed in the military, but went into the Army. We moved often, made many good friends along the way, and came back to Alabama in 1989. Mike now works for the US Government, and I am retired, and spend lots of time with volunteer work and running around with my group of crazy Red Hatters! I have two sons and best of all, two grandsons, our reward for letting our teenagers live... Life is good
