Kim Bolton (Thomas)

KIMBERLEY ANN BOLTON-THOMAS Beloved wife and mother, passed from this life on December 10, 2006 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Kim was born on August 27, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas and graduated from Bellaire High School with the class of 1979. She was a valued employee of SW Bell, SBC, and AT&T for some 27 years. She was a Lifetime Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, serving on the Facilities Services and the VIP Services committees. She was a lover and supporter of High School FFA, Little Britches Rodeo, and High School rodeo programs (her son Kolby is a member of the Rodeo Team for Sam Houston State University). Kim is survived by her adoring husband of 20 years, Kevin Dean Thomas, her beloved son Kolby Dean Thomas; her parents F.O. (Fred) and Mary Bolton; her sister Kelly Akkerman and husband Steven; mother-in-law Ferrell Thomas; brother-in-laws Randy Thomas and wife Amy, Lamar Thomas and wife Stacy; James Thomas; sister-in-law Brenda Zeigler; nephews Justin Akkerman and wife Lacy, Jared Akkerman, Luke and Ben Thomas; nieces Dannielle and Faith Thomas, and Jennifer Jones and her husband Mike; and other family and friends too numerous to mention. Also important to Kim would have been the mention of her beloved pets: horse Sassy; and dogs Mimi, Tuff, Gus, and Murray. The family would like to express their sincere gratification for the heroic efforts of the following health care providers: Dr. Garrett (Rush) Lynch and Carol Elizondo of Baylor College of Medicine; the doctors and staff of the Breast Care Center with special thanks to nurses Susan and Sam; as well as the entire nursing and support staff of the 8th floor of The Methodist Hospital with special thanks to Christy and Connie. Memorial Service to be held at 2:00pm Friday Dec 15 at Klein Funeral Home 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX.
