Survived By: Kathy Breard Huebner, a son and a daughter.

My closest friend, John Huebner passed away unexpectedly in 2000. John and I were the best of friends and attended school together from elementary through college days at Texas A&M. We were roommates in college and I was best man at his wedding to Kathy Breard, a Bellaire High School alum. John was instrumental in me attending Texas A&M and we enjoyed our time together. He was a good friend, a good husband and a good father. I still miss his friendship.
