Don't know about you folks, but I think it's awesome that Brenda set this website up! What a great way to keep in touch with old classmates. The reunions are great, (Once again thanks to Brenda), but this site will enable us to communicate all the time ! Take care everyone and let's get this forum started.

Hey - Doug Murray's wife asking if anyone has any pictures of his band "Stubborn Kind" at TEEN TOWN or anything like that??? I never had the pleasure of seeing them or hearing them since I didn't meet him until 1970.

Larry and Carol Lamb, Greetings from beautiful downtown Sparkle City on the muck. How goes it in what I consider Gods Country? My Dad is still living and I am taking care of him, but have dreams of someday living up there. Things in our little berg, are just going from bad to worse, but all in all things are okay. Looking forward to the Reunion, hope to see you all there. Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much. Carolyn Burns Nehls.

Carolyn, things are great here in the Ocala area. We too think of it as God's country. Carol even has a sign in the kitchen "Welcome to Paradise". We will always have our Belle Glade roots and miss the people, but honestly don't miss other things about B.G. Yes, we will be at the reunion and look forward to seeing you there.

Jackie,
Yes that's right about the rooms. If you remember in 2004 the rooms were $99/night so I think with 5 yrs. difference we did pretty good to keep the cost down. The resort has been completely renovated & is more beautiful than ever. Can't wait.

Does anyone remember the Mini Golf in North Palm Beach ? I can remember going there quite a few times, they also used to have some great bands around there. I remember the Rascals were there several times.

HI Everyone--
What an amazing site this is!! Who would have thought something like this would even have been possible back in 1969?? Thanks for doing this, Brenda. Anyway, greetings to you all from South Alabama. I am looking forward to coming to the reunion next year.
Hope you're all doing great.
War Eagle to any Auburn fans!

Susan, I noticed you mentioned the "War Eagles". Paul's younger brother, Tim Prescott, has a daughter at Auburn. She has been a starter on their soccer team since she was a freshman & she's all of 4'9"!

What is taking so long for so many classmates to create their profiles?? Let's all work together to get in touch with other classmates & encourage them to sign on. We need more pictures, old & new, and MORE fun school stories. It only takes minutes to sign up! Terry Simmonds...where are you??? You were e-mailing & messaging and then as usual...POOF!!..you're gone again. Larry Lamb..what's up with you & Carol these days?

Thanks for asking Brenda...We are on a little trip right now. Spent a long weekend with the new grandson in Augusta, now completing a week at the Dillard House in Ga. doing the mountains thing. We're headed to Atlanta tomorrow for the weekend and back to paradise (Dunnellon) on Monday. While at an antique mall in Franklin, N.C., the lady behind the counter asked if I was Larry. Turned out to be Deborah Thomas, Class of 71. She and her husband moved there about a year ago. Small world......! Take care and thanks for the great site! Come on some of you "peekers", put your two cents worth in!!

Brenda:
I cannot find the prior posting button. Can you help me.

09/17/08 09:12 PM #20

Brenda Buckner (Prescott)

Wayne, I've sent an e-mail to the website creator & asked about the prior post button. It's a mystery to me also.

09/18/08 07:49 AM #21

Brenda Buckner (Prescott)

Okay, the answer to the "prior post button" is that it doesn't appear until after 26 entries. But that will soon be a thing of past altogether. The forum will change in some form, we'll have to wait & see what the exact changes are. The web creator is constantly working with his team almost around the clock creating new & improved programs for this site. They keep us (the administrators of our sites) constantly informed. I can call & speak live 24/7. It is a wonderful program. If anyone is interested in creating a website for another class, please tell them about this program. I can't pass on the word enough for these web creators.
