
Brian was born in Seattle on May 13, 1945, and passed away from a stroke on November 29, 2021. After high school, he attended Seattle Univ graduating in 1968 with a degree in Business Administration. While there, he enrolled in ROTC and received his commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Medical Service Corps of the US Army. He served a year in Viet Nam specializing in medical logistics. Returning to the US, he became the Aide-de-Camp to the Commanding General at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco.
He retired in 2005 having achieved the rank of Colonel. As a reservist he developed expertise in commercial real estate. Together with his medical experience in the Army, he played an important role in the mid-1990 expansion of Overlake Hospital.
He is predeceased by his parents Lois and John. He is survived by his brother John (Wife Diane) and sister Susan (husband Mark Ursino, and 3 nieces. A celebration of his life was held on December 14th at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sammamish.
