Hey everyone! I love checking out the profiles. Thanks Mo for putting this together. I like the idea of a family day and then an evening event. I can't believe no one suggested DARBY HILL! Come on... We could have a bon fire and everything! Do some fire walking, etc. Maybe Boner and I could walk into town to get some beer!! (probably no one remembers that! I'm surprised that I do. :-) Oh the good ol' days!

Mike's class had a gathering at the boat landing a couple of years ago, might this be a good place to family party? Bring couple charcol grills and also use what is there for dogs and burgers, pot luck salads, BYOB and chairs. Could whip up a couple games if we know how many and what ages. Maybe something classmates vs spouses?

I like the idea of someplace that has pavilions and grills already in place. That way if the weather is bad we still can hang out.

Does anyone have any ideas what the adult evening plan could be? I certainly don't think it has to be fancy. I was just looking online for ideas and I came across the Green Mountain Railroad, which leaves from the BF Depot. They provide receptions for weddings and other special events. You can bring on your own food/apps or they can provide them for a price. They can make a cash bar available too. Does Vermont Academy have any venues available for a party?

OK which one of you skiers has been praying a little TOO hard to the snow Gods?!?!?! What the hell, I've already had enough. I will beat the rush for the reunion and start drinking now if I have to plow every other day for the rest of winter!

Man I don't know about the whole blame Scott for the clothing optional part. I roomed with him after high school. He is to straight laced, but ya gotta love him. It would be sweet to have the availability of both a family get together and an adult party. A dance would be really cool. It will be interesting to see who has learned to dance after all these years.
Oh and for those who don't know it there is no snow here and has been in the 50 and 60's off and on since nov.

Oh great! Now we're being judged on our dance skills. Isn't a 20 year reunion stressful enough with how we look?

Amy, I had a question for you. Do you still wear Strawberry Shortcake Underoos?

01/14/09 05:25 PM #14

Amy Weber (McKean)

They weren't Strawberry Shortcake, they were Wonder Woman Underoos. But I suppose it's better than you wearing your Hulk Hogan underpants through college. (Didn't you feel secure in your masculinity by then?)

LOL Amy my dear if we do have a night bash that is typical BF most peeps won't remember anything after 9 pm.. lol .. so dancing will only be remembered if someone brings a video cam and stays sober enough to run it.. plus knows how to add it to U-Tube or Facebook.. lol

Scott i never knew you were a die hard hulk - a - mania.. the green man.. knowing you you still have them..

Boy the things you learn after a few years away from home..

I can't wait to see everyone again.

Rats... This was much funnier when I had changed my question but Amy hadn't changed her answer yet... LOL

BTW: Hulk Hogan was only the beginning of my collection. I had a whole WWF line-up!

Hey everyone,
Bout time to start thinking class float for our 20th. Any ideas? Any place to build? Also if anyone has Travis Crawfords email or anything he would like to hear from anyone on the subject. I will try to get in touch with him and get him on here.

I had posted some information on facebook to the people that I had contacts for, but got little response. Jeff Potter, Jason Albee and I with the help of a few others booked Boccelli's in downtown BF for our reunion. More details will come by mail. Also, we have been talking about the float, and also haven't gotten any suggestions, but we thought about doing "The Grinch". Still open for suggestions if anyone has any though. Jeff Potter has a garage that he is willing to let us use to build the float.

I just found this message forum & I'm the one that set this up. Whoopsy. Anyway, what a nice surprise by all the chatter. I'm glad we decided on a clothed adult party at Bocelli's, although seeing Scott & Amy in their underoos would have been entertaining. I'll be bringing my video cam, so Rod, I hope you've been practicing your moves. The Grinch sounds great to me and thanks Jeff for offering your garage. If you give me an address and hours that you wish people there/not there, I know you have kids...I'll put the info up on this site. Thanks to Mel, Jeff & Jason for taking care of the reunion stuff. I know I dropped the ball, but I'm all about helping when I come up. I appreciate your hard work! Can't wait to see you all & drink some beers BF Style!

So...a day of picnicking and swimming at Townshend Dam...Sounds like an 8th grade mini-course!

Has anyone decided what our float is?

05/28/09 06:11 AM #27

Jessica Ricci

I'm counting on all of you to take many pictures of the time at Townsend Dam, at the dinner and during the parade. If I can't be there (since I'll be, you know, stuck in Italy :-) I want some documented proof that we've matured in the last 20 years. I kid, I kid - I know we haven't grown up - but I want to see fotos - they are going to be hysterical!! Have a blast everyone.

Does my grey hair count for maturity? :)

What a great time! It was wonderful to see everyone and catch up. Thanks again to everyone who worked hard to make the weekend a success. Dinner was wonderful and the float was fantastic! I can't wait to find out if our float won a prize!
