ARTICLE IV – OFFICERS
Section 1. Number of Officers - The Executive Officers of the corporation shall be a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Two or more offices may be held by one person, except holding the President and Vice-president Office at the same time.
Section 2. Qualification for Appointment - The appointee to an Executive Office position or a Committee Members position must be a graduate of the Belmar Elementary School (Monmouth, NJ) of any scheduled and promoted reunion or of any other year if deemed necessary and/or appropriate by the President or Vice- President.
- President - shall be the Executive Director of the corporation, ex officio member of all committees. And shall have the power to appoint a Planning Committee, and to fill any vacancy that may arise in the committee. He or She shall also have authority to make temporary appointments as necessary and to appoint the following Executive positions:
- Vice-President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Vice- President - The Vice-President shall serve in the Presidents absence, perform the duties of the President when necessary, perform other duties assigned by the President, and shall preside as Chairperson at all meetings of the Planning Committee. And may appoint a Parliamentarian, Co-chairperson and Sub-Committee leads as necessary to support reunion events and superintend them in their duties.
- Secretary - The Secretary shall give notice of all meetings of the Board and Executive Committee, if any, shall keep an accurate list of the Board of Directors, and shall have the authority to certify any records, or copies of records, as the official records of the corporation. The Secretary shall maintain the minutes of all meetings.
- Treasurer - The Treasurer shall be responsible for conducting the financial affairs of the corporation as directed and authorized by the Board and Executive Committee, if any, and shall make reports of the corporations finances as required, but no less often than at each meeting of the Board and Executive Committee.
ARTICLE VIII – TERM OF OFFICE
Section 1. The term of office shall be for 1 year or until successors are appointed and qualified. New officers shall take office on the Sunday morning following the annual meeting.
