James A. Aronis
AGE: 56 • Lake Como
Jimmy passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015. He graduated from Manasquan High School in 1977. While there, he was on the wrestling team and active in the drama club. He performed in many school plays during his time at Manasquan and later took part in plays at the Spring Lake Community Theater. After high school, he attended the Neighborhood Playhouse School for Acting in NYC, where he studied under the most respected theater coaches at the time: Sanford Meisner, William Alderson, and Fred Kareman. His parents, Lefty and Nancy Aronis predeceased him. He is survived by his brothers, Harry (Kathi), of Brick, Nick of Lake Como, John of Wall Township, Chris (Rhonda) of Vacaville, California and Michael (Carmen) of Woodland Hills, California. Many nieces and nephews who affectionately called him "Uncle Yimmy" also survive him. Jimmy was an avid fisherman, often seen on the banks of Lake Como with a bass on the line. Jimmy made a living as a painter both here in NJ and in Florida. He always had a smile on his face and a laugh to share with all who loved him. He will be dearly missed.
Cremation was private.
