James "Jim" William Speakman

It was a great sadness that the family of James William Speakman (Jimbo) announces his passing on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL. He was 57 years old. Jim was born and raised in Belmar, NJ. He graduated from Belmar grammar school and attended Manasquan High School. Upon leaving high school, he went to work at Taylor's Hardware in Belmar for several years. He then took a job at United Mobile Homes of Eatontown. He eventually moved to Pensacola, FL to work in construction. He leaves behind his loving wife, Diane Dunzer Speakman and three daughters, Cassie, Jamie, and Katlyn Speakman, who all reside in Ohio. He also leaves to grieve for him his mother, Nancy Moran McGowan and her husband, Joseph who live in West Palm Beach, FL. He is also survived by his brother, Gregory Speakman; his brother's wife, Lynn and their two children, William and Elizabeth, who live in South Carolina; three sisters, Laura Gager and her son, James Lane of Belmar, Cynthia Dupre and her husband, Jim. They have two children, Abigail and Zachary of Howell, NJ and Nancy Katherine DeMorjian of Toms River, NJ. He was predeceased by his loving sister, Theresa (Teri) Speakman Reynolds. He is also survived by her two sons, Casey and Patrick Reynolds. He was a great uncle!
