God, it sounds like he had a really marvelous working life, but Huntington's runs in my ex-husband's family, so I am very familiar with this devastating genetic disease. Thanks for posting.

Major life change on February 1, 2017--moved to New York in order to enjoy my new grandson. Let go of so much 'stuff' that I'm down to about 15 boxes and a bed!

You've had a wonderfully full life! I'm sure you'll keep it up, too. Dementia: my mother's step-father, who lived with my parents at the end, had it. It was hard on my father because my grandfather was hostile towards him which I heard was a symptom. Also, a close friends' sister had dementia at the end. I read "Still Alice" and was awakened to how horrible a disease it is. Sadly, I fear that my dear sister's husband is on his way there. I hope your question doesn't imply it is coming into your life!

Oh, I also remembr Miss Nagai! (One a sub'd at Carlmont!! Saw Mr. Goldman, my old mentor from English and the newspaper.)
