Jim was a devoted husband and fantastic father. He managed to not miss even 1 of his children's sports events. That was no easy accomplishment as he had a demanding job with frequent travel and coached 1 of the childrens' soccer teams for 7 years. The oldest son played 8 yrs of soccer and 1 yr football, our daughter played 8 years soccer, 1 year track And 4 yrs field hockey, our youngest son played 4 yrs soccer 1 yr baseball and 6 years football and Jim managed not to miss any one of them. Sometimes he had to drive from 1 to the other if they were at the same time. It was a shock to his family to loose him so suddenly and at such a young age.

My memory of Jim is of a great guy who was very friendly and welcoming to me as a transfer student. I believe he lived not far from me on Forest Ave. in Belmont.
Maureen, I don't think I ever saw the two of you apart!
