"Perhaps the most common characteristic of juvenile delinquents and hooligans is the 'Elvis Presley look."
This op-ed appeared in the Belmont Cornier-Bulletin the same day as clean cut members of the High Time sat in front of Belmont's juvenile police officer, Sgt. Dipalo (I knew him well...too well).
The establishment was rearing its head and had spoken! No DA's (duck's ass), no widow's peaks, no hair over the collar...and in case you forgot, no raised shirt shirt collars either...unless one wanted to get pegged as a " rouge"...
And, yes, the times, they were a-changing...or about to...
