Mark Allen Stoner was born on July 29th, 1960. Mark Stoner and Sean Wright were on their way home on May 12th, 1979 when they lost control of their motercycle. Both Mark and Sean lost their lives that night. They were just weeks away from their High School Graduation.
Mark was in my art class senior year. He painted so well it looked like a photograph. He was a quiet, nice guy. It left an indelible memory about the dangers of youths on motorcycles. It was such a tragedy. I remember Rich Parisi giving the emotional eulogy at the Greek Orthodox Church on Alameda de las Pulgas in Belmont just a week or so before graduation. We were so young and Sean and Mark's deaths were jarring to our class.
