Nannette Nee Bassett

I guess I can say I am retired from the working world. I am full time giving back to the community via working and volunteering for local non profits - PTA board, MI Visual Arts Gallery, MI Farmers Market, WA Womens Foundation, MI Womens Club.
We moved to Seattle area in 2003, after Bruce sold his business Virtual Research. We were supposed to have more free time to spend with the kids. Well, we wanted to do more.

I graduated a year early in 1978. I know you did not miss me. I went to San Jose State University for 2 years. Burnt out on working as a gemologist and going to school. I left for 2 months to travel Europe. 4.5 years later, I returned home to finish my degree in International Business and work for a company who needed someone who spoke French = Raynet International. Spent about 8 years in the telecom business as Program Manager building HW and SW and deploying systems! I do miss the start up mentality and energy of new ideas and technology. I LOVE making my own day and defining what it will be. I still can not say NO when someone needs help or is doing something Cool. Life is full of opportunities.
